As a photographer there’s no higher compliment than being hired by the same family for more than one wedding! That was the case with Sara & Kinnison’s wedding. I shot Kinnison’s older sister, Price’s, wedding to Ryan just last year in Gastonia, NC. So I was thrilled to be a part of another celebration with this wonderful family!
Sara & Kinnison had their rehearsal dinner at the new High Wire Distillery on upper King Street in downtown Charleston. This is by far one of the most unique setups I have seen! The vendors worked together to create a warm and cozy feel. The Butcher and Bee served a spectacular family style meal where each table received five or six meals to pass around and share. Lauren, with Fox Events, did a fabulous job making sure everything was just right!
Rehearsal dinners are a preview for me of what’s to come on the wedding day. I love listening to the toasts about the bride and groom and hearing similar themes and stories come from different people. Despite a snow storm trying to get in the way, the distillery was filled with family, friends, and love…the perfect way to kick off a Valentine’s Day wedding weekend!
