Sarah & Mark

Life has an interesting way of putting the people in your life at the right moment. Sarah and Mark have an intertwined background, as two of Sarah’s best friends are Mark’s cousins. While they had met each other a number of times in the past, it was never for more than a short introduction. Fast forward to 2013 when both Mark and Sarah were in town for Thanksgiving, and Mark’s cousin invited him and his brother out for drinks at Sarah’s house. The sparks flew instantly between them that night and the rest is history.

Charleston has been a constant setting for this love story. It was Sarah’s home and an integral part of Mark’s family. Their first kiss and engagement happened within steps of each other, and there was no question they would get married Charleston. Knowing they would be having a very large wedding at the end of February, they were looking for the perfect indoor venue. From the moment Sarah stepped into the renovated Gaillard Center, she knew that this is where their fairytale would become a reality.  With 265 of their closest friends and family in attendance the setting was remarkably elegant and romantic.  The party and dancing went well past midnight, but the memories and love will last a lifetime.​
