Emily and Seth first met in 1997, through Emily’s older brother, Walt, while she was on a college weekend road trip to Charleston. After a Saturday evening out together, she returned to college and then on to dental school. However, the timing wasn’t right since they both had different goals and paths to traverse. Fast forward 10 years to 2017 & through a series of life’s ups and downs, Emily and Seth were able to reconnect and made a glorious new start.

Emily & Seth tied the knot on March 22, 2019, on the lawn by the pool of The Sandcastle on Kiawah Island. The ceremony was the ultimate family affair! Emily looked gorgeous walking down the aisle with her two brothers in her beautiful beaded overlay gown with a sweetheart neckline and illusion straps. Seth’s four daughters were the stunning bridesmaids in their soft steel blue gowns. Emily’s father, a notary, and the officiant beamed as he watched them repeat their vows.

Wedding planner, Blythe Hill with Hill & Co. Creative, made the wedding look effortless. It was very neutral with subtle pops of blush in the lovely florals and aqua in the linens of the cake table and cocktail tables on the porch. The family photographs and candles placed around the reception gave the guests a sentimental feeling. The evening overall was elegant and classic!
