Lauren & Tim

Lauren and Tim, met their sophomore year at Clemson University through mutual friends in January 2009. They began as friends but that all changed when they went skydiving on their first date! After dating on and off and moving around the state of South Carolina, they met back up at the Firefly Music Festival in May of 2013 and decided to make this relationship official by September. Three years later on December 26, 2017, Tim began his proposal with a series of puzzle pieces of various pictures of them together. On the night that Tim proposed he asked a friend if she would take Lauren out for a manicure. When Lauren returned to the apartment, Tim had filled it with candles, rose petals, and the remaining puzzle pieces, the last of which was a question mark! He then got down on one knee and popped the question! After she said “Yes!” they drove to Charleston, where she was told that she was meeting her family for dinner. When they arrived, he had set up a surprise engagement party with their closest family and friends!

 Lauren and Tim were happily married on Saturday, May 17, 2019, with a full mass in St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Beaufort, SC.  The indoor and outdoor reception was located at Tabby Place at Beaufort Inn, a few blocks from the water’s edge. On Friday night, their rehearsal dinner took place at a lovely riverside venue, The Anchorage, where Lauren’s family frequently goes to fish. As always, Ashley Rhodes with Ashley Rhodes Events created a dream event!  The entire day of the wedding and celebration was exceptionally beautiful and reflected the new couple’s personality!
